Chapters didn't begin with a candle.

It began with a love for scent and the way fragrance can make us feel something before we can even put that feeling into words.

The more I fell in love with fragrance, the more I started imagining what it would look like to create something of my own. At first, that dream looked like perfume; a fragrance brand built around scents that felt personal, meaningful, and connected to a story.

And the storytelling part mattered just as much to me as the fragrance itself.

I've always been drawn to telling stories through the things I create, especially through photography. I love capturing the feeling behind a moment; the details, the atmosphere, and the little things we don't always realize we'll remember later.

That's where Chapters began.

The name felt right because life itself is made up of chapters. Different seasons, different versions of ourselves, beginnings, endings, people, places, and moments that become part of our story.

And I wanted fragrance to be the way I told those stories.

Perfume was the original dream, but I knew I didn't have to begin with the final chapter.

Home fragrance gave me a place to start. I could begin learning, creating, experimenting with scent, and building the world I had imagined; one candle at a time. And while candles became the beginning of Chapters, they were never meant to be the end of the story.

I want Chapters to grow deeper into fragrance and into the kind of brand I originally dreamed of creating: one rooted in scent, storytelling, nostalgia, and the emotions attached to the moments that make us who we are.

But there is an even bigger why behind all of it.

My daughters.

I wanted them to watch me take an idea that existed only in my head and have the courage to build something from it. I wanted them to see the work behind a dream; the mistakes, the late nights, the learning, the changing direction, and the decision to keep going anyway.

More than anything, I wanted to create something they could look up to and, one day, something they could look back on and know that their mom built it with them in mind.

So Chapters is about memories, but it's also about creating them.

It's about honoring where we've been while having the courage to write what comes next.

And we're only at the beginning.

This is more than fragrance.
It's a story we're still writing.
